Balancing brand cohesion with the distinct charms of each guest house to boost booking conversion rates
Dear's Brain Co., Ltd., known for its diverse range of businesses including creative wedding proposals, dress services, and restaurant ventures, primarily centered around guesthouses nationwide. In this project, we embarked on a complete overhaul of 23 guesthouse websites for their core wedding enterprise, 'Dear's Wedding.' Our objectives included a comprehensive reconstruction of the brand image, highlighting unique attractions for each guesthouse, and creating a website structure tailored to meet the expectations of the increasing number of smartphone users.

Unifying tone and style while effectively portraying the unique features of each of the 23 guest houses
At Dear's Wedding, each guesthouses across the nation proudly boasts its own unique store name, offering bespoke wedding styles that align with their respective locations and facility features. Individual websites for each guesthouse have been independently disseminating information, so the central challenge revolved around how to encapsulate cohesive branding for Dear's Wedding.
In this renewal project, the initial step involved crafting a fundamental design format. This format included concept pages that succinctly summarized the distinct attributes of each venue, a team support (planner and staff introduction) page highlighting their primary selling points, and a dedicated section for showcasing their delectable culinary offerings, which had gained immense popularity, even securing the top position on Oricon charts.
By synergizing six variants of Latin fonts, 23 theme colors, and the distinctive logos and key visuals of each guesthouse, we successfully achieved a sense of brand unity while artfully preserving the individual traits and idiosyncrasies of each venue.
In addition, to address the considerable variations in content quality, quantity, and sources found in previous wedding-related materials and brochures, they took a comprehensive approach by creating entirely new content. Through a series of collaborative meetings and the exchange of store concepts and marketing insights, we meticulously refined the messaging to ensure a more accurate and compelling portrayal of their distinctive charm.

Designing stress-free displays and user flow.
Despite the majority of our users falling within the 20-30 age group, with over 70% accessing the site via smartphones, one of the key challenges we faced was the lack of mobile responsiveness in the site's structure. In this redesign, we've embraced responsive design principles to ensure that users can effortlessly explore all our content on any device without encountering any undue stress.
We've paid meticulous attention to design elements such as menu user interface (UI), the placement of headings, text volume, font sizes, and image visibility to guarantee an attractive and user-friendly experience, regardless of whether they are visiting from a PC or a smartphone.
Long-term support as a branding partner
When adopting a component-based design approach, a crucial aspect is thoroughly reviewing all pages, identifying the necessary components, categorizing them based on their usage, and organizing them into a comprehensive component library. Failing to perform a meticulous inventory and organization at this stage can lead to problems during later stages of page production, such as component shortages or uncertainty about which components to use. Therefore, we rigorously inspected and validated every page to ensure that we could achieve the most optimal presentation.
Web-driven visits increase by 200%,
conversion rates increase by 74%
Following the renewal, web-driven visits have seen a remarkable 200% increase, while booking conversion rates have improved by an impressive 74%. Additionally, the newly introduced Instagram page has been steadily gaining more followers. Our clients are enthusiastic about the results and eager to build upon this success.
